Through the Eyes of the Artist
Welcome to Lloveria Atelier, a space where art, nature, and compassion meet.
This collection features original, artisanal artwork by Helena Lloveria, a qigong instructor with a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts, living and working in New York. Her pieces are inspired by the beauty of the natural world, her qigong practice, and a vision of art as a path toward discovering deeper meaning in life.
Slowly I discovered the secret of my art. It consists of a meditation on nature, on the expression of a dream which is always inspired by reality.— Henri Matisse, interview with Jacques Guenne, L’Art Vivant, September 15, 1925.
Like the French artist Henri Matisse, she finds that creative expression is a way of discovering a secret. How these secrets are revealed is an art in itself.
The aim of the trained scientific or artistic imagination is to conceive, invent or imagine some unifying truth previously unsuspected or forgotten.
— Ananda K. Coomaraswamy, The Aims of Indian Art (1908).
Art has the power to reveal what lies beneath the surface, allowing us to discover something previously unseen or reconnect with something we may have forgotten. When welcomed into our homes, a painting can become a gentle mantra of kindness, a silent meditation that invites us to pause, contemplate, and discover new ways of seeing ourselves and the world around us.
Thanks and enjoy the visit.
